Paddhant School of Music - Tabla Learning Program Details

Introduction

Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you for your interest in the Paddhant School of Music's Tabla program. Please carefully review the following guidelines and fee structure before commencing classes.

Class Initiation

• For students with prior Tabla experience, please send a short video of your playing to the teacher via WhatsApp or email before starting classes. This will help the teacher assess your current skill level.

Class Structure and Format

• Group classes will consist of 4 sessions per month.

• Individual classes will consist of 6 sessions per month.

• The number of classes provided is to guide the frequency of practice and is not related to a pro-rata reduction in fees.

• Online learning will consist of a mix of 6 pre-recorded lessons and live sessions per month. Students are expected to practice daily to develop proficiency. Live session timings will be flexible, with a minimum duration of 30 minutes.

Practice and Communication

• Consistent practice is essential for progress. Students can contact the teacher via call or WhatsApp for clarifications at any time.

• To ensure effective learning, students are expected to share a video of their practice of a specific lesson with the teacher after understanding the lesson.

Attendance and Policies

• Fees are payable monthly, regardless of a student's ability to attend or complete sessions.

• Pre-recorded sessions will be provided continuously without breaks.

• Missed classes will not be rescheduled. Punctuality is essential for all scheduled classes.

• Changes to class timings will be communicated at least 2 hours in advance.

• We request that parents also provide advance notice of any scheduling changes.

• Regular attendance is crucial for maintaining consistency and progress.

·       Fees and Payment

•  Fees are non-refundable once classes have commenced.

•  Students may opt to pay fees annually under the officially declared annual structure of the institution.

•  The fee structure is identical for both online and in-person classes.

·       • Group Classes:

An advance payment of four (3) months' fees is mandatory prior to commencement of classes.

→ INR 8,000 per month (Initial Payment of 24000)        

      → Payable monthly before the commencement of each month (after completing the first three month cycle)

·       • Individual Classes:

Fees are structured on a three (3) month cycle and are to be paid upon completion of the previous cycle.

→ INR 12,000 per month

→ INR 36,000 payable after completion of each 3-month cycle

·       • Demo classes are available at a charge of INR 1,500 per session, subject to teacher availability.

•  The fee structure is uniform and strictly non-negotiable.

•  No individual concessions, reductions, partial adjustments, or special discounts are permitted under any circumstances.

•  The advance fee policy (for group classes) and cycle-based payment structure (for individual classes) apply equally to all students.

•  This ensures fairness, consistency, and equal respect toward every family associated with the institution.

Examinations

• Students pursuing a formal music curriculum are encouraged to register for and participate in examinations conducted by the Affiliated University.

Patronage

• Paddhant School of Music is committed to music research and development, including instrument crafting and sound engineering.

• We also support underprivileged students by providing instruments and financial assistance.

• Patron contributions are separate from teacher fees and operational costs.
